Mick Heimdall has over 30 year’s experience working as Professional Security Operative within the Security Industry.

Mick Heimdall is a qualified trainer and assessor with over 19yrs experience. He has been appointed to a number of notable positions from Guest Presenter for Charles Stuart University at the International Policing and Security Conference 2015 Dhabi and 2018 Sydney to Operations Training Manger and Senior Security and Risk Consultant. A range of security companies throughout the Sydney CBD have engaged his services from MJC Security, ADT, Sun Security, ACES, Chief Security Group.
Mick has also assisted in extraction of POI operations. Some of the major events he has contributed to across the Sydney CBD include New Years Eve, Australia Day, St Patrick Day, Oktoberfest and Santa Pub Crawl. Professional roles he has fulfilled include Operations Training Manger / Security and Risk Consultant with ACES for Property NSW Rangers and The City of Sydney sites. He has consulted in crowd management for Rugby League events for MJS and WIN Entertainment. In this last role, Mick’s role was to assess possible threats / risks and to create site inductions and train staff for relevant positions.
Mick Heimdall specialises in hand-to-hand training including the application of psychology based tactical communication methods. His consultant services include the design and presentation of risk management programs. Mick’s work was recently featured in Australasian Policing: A Journal of Professional Practice and Research.
He holds a Master of Terrorism and Security Studies degree from Charles Stuart University and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree from the University of Wollongong. In 2018 Mick completed training in cognitive detection and profiling, with I-Sec International Security.
Mick Heimdall’s present career direction involves improving the operational effectiveness of law enforcement officers and security operatives, and assisting corporations, institutions and groups to better manage security risks in a variety of contexts.
